Facts
- was introduced back in 1987 so is a real classic in the Canon EF lens lineup
- estimated retail price 240 EUR
- in my use from 2/2006 to 5/2007
- sharpness was not up to today's standards
Pros
- the image quality is generally good except the sharpness
- has a rather fast autofocus despite the fact that is not an USM
- easily recognizable AF motor sound
- very small
Cons
- could be sharper especially wide open (a f/2.8 prime should perform better wide open)
