Pros
- is a stunning lens offering great image quality
- works quite well even at f/2.0 so is usable indoors
- not too heavy for my shooting style
- I got Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM and this to see which suits me better and this was the keeper
Cons
- quite heavy so could be an overkill for a small DSLR body
- after I got Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM this is no longer the sharpest and best-focusing lens in my bag
- with 1.6x crop bodies not a perfect focal length for cat show photos
- generally 135 mm focal length has been out of fashion
